The Northwest Assisted Living Facilities Association (Nor-ALFA) represents providers who care for over 10,000 Washington state citizens in assisted living and retirement communities. Formed in 1995 by visionary leaders committed to ensuring effective representation in legislative and regulatory arenas, Nor-ALFA members believe that by combining efforts they can educate the public, regulators and legislators about assisted living and its importance as a viable care setting for elderly and frail individuals.
