Kansas Advocates for Better Care (KABC) is a statewide nonprofit organization of consumers promoting quality long-term care for residents of licensed adult care homes, such as nursing homes and assisted living, as well as frail persons living in their own homes. The main services KABC provides are guidance for consumers making placement decisions, training for nursing home staff about preventing abuse, neglect and exploitation, and education for legislators about long-term care topics.
