ElderWeb was selected as a NetWellness Hot Link Site, 1999. Email received 09/14/1999 Greetings! I'm sending you this message to update you on NetWellness? (http://netwellness.org). and to congratulate you on being selected as a NetWellness' hotlink. All NetWellness hotlinks are evaluated by health professional faculty at the University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, or Case Western Reserve University using the Criteria for Assessing the Quality of Health Information on the Internet (http://hitiweb.mitretek.org/docs/criteria.html) developed by the Health Summit Working Group. These three universities collaborate to provide NetWellness, a consumer health information web site supported by the State of Ohio and dedicated to providing reliable health information to Ohio's citizens. Consumers and health educators in Ohio access NetWellness from over 700 public libraries throughout the state, from Ohio's 4600+ schools, and from homes and workplaces in all 50 states and over 50 foreign countries via the Internet. NetWellness features its interactive "Ask an Expert," where visitors send questions and faculty volunteers in over 40 topics respond to all questions normally in 2 to 3 days.
