2007 Update

Fellow Ever-Bloom Anglers,

Well, another year of Ever-Bloom Tournament angling is fast approaching so I thought I would quit working on tackle and let you know of some changes that will take place this year.

First, the Terminator Heavy Weight of the Year has changed to Bass Fan Army as the sponsor. The two anglers with the largest cumulative weight will win two spots in Bass Fan's Weekend Warrior Classic. This classic is highly regarded and one angler will win $25,000 this year. For more information on this event, just log on to http://www.bassfan.com. Terry will give more details on this at the first event.

Tentative 2007 Calendar

The tentative 2007 tournament schedule is:

April 14 - Evergreen
May 12 - Bloomington
May 26 - Evergreen
June 16 - Bloomington
June 30 - Evergreen
July 21 - Bloomington
August 25 - Evergreen
September 22-23 - Classic

Date Change for Classic

Important note!! We are going to have to move the date of the Classic because of a scheduling snafu with a State team event so the new dates to put on your calendars are October 28th and 29th.

New Features

The Strike King Ever-Bloom trail has a couple of new features we felt you should be aware of prior to the first event. As mentioned in our previous announcement Mossy Oak and Setyr Rods have joined us and both have stepped up bigtime. Mossy Oak will be providing a sample to each competitor at the first event and the big bass winner will get a bulk spool with their cash winnings as well. They are also providing a Mossy Oak sponsorship to the team that catches the big bass for the year.

Setyr Rods, a Portland Oregon based company, who builds the only true American made rod from blank to reel seat to guides will be providing the first out of the money award of two premium rods. They will also be providing rods for our classic this year as well.

Thanks to Everyone

Thanks to everyone that fished the Strike King Ever-Bloom Tournament trail again this year. Without you it would not be a success and hopefully we will have water back in Bloomington for next years classic. Photos' of the classic are now up on the site. We hope you enjoy them as well. I send information to our sponsors after each event and do a year-end recap to keep them appraised of what we do and how we do it. It is very important when you go out and purchase tackle and products to include our sponsors if possible. Most of them have feedback sections on their respective web pages and a nice note thanking them for their involvement with our trail always helps.

Thanks to Everyone

Thanks to all who fished with us in 2004. The feedback we have gotten has been outstanding and we appreciate the kind words. Our sponsors are pleased as well and all have re-upped again for 2005. Strike King will again be the title sponsor of the trail. We also have added Ultimate Lure Saver, the manufacturer of titanium re-useable split rings to our growing list of sponsors for 2005. Terminator is also on-board fulltime and will be even more involved in 2005 as the spinnerbait and jig sponsor for the trail and also be a presenting sponsor. Of course, Ranger and Yamaha, BassFan, Kistler, Plano, Midwest Fin and Feather, Garmin, and Castrol will be involved again as well. We are presently working on several other companies who see the value in working with this trail.
