Here's a page with an embedded views calc table (the table does not show up in the teaser view that you see below, only in the full page view.)
The stand-alone table example is at Results. A matching view that calculates by team is visible at that url as a separate tab. The team results view is embedded in the team node. See a team example.
Another views calc table is at Standings. The blocks on the right side of the page for Big Bass of the Year and Heavy Weight of the Year link to the standings page, each sorted by the appropriate column.
