Ever-Bloom Tournament
Brown and Blake win Evergreen Again.....
The fifth event of the Strike King Ever-Bloom Tournament Trail was held June 30 on Evergreen Lake and was won by Terry Brown and Mike Blake with 17.18 lbs and a big bass of 5.50 lbs. They fished both shallow wood, less than two feet and deep brushpiles in 15-18 feet of water to catch their five fish limit. They caught their bass on a Omega 3/4 ounce football head jig with a Zoom Super Speed Craw trailer and a Zoom Lizard.
Second place went to the father and son duo of Jack Menssen and AJ Menssen with 3 bass at 10.26 lbs. They also a big bass of 5.24 lbs. They caught their bass on spinnerbaits and lizards in less than 2 foot of water.
In third place was Pat Welch and Brian McDaniel with 2 bass weighing 7.37 lbs. They also had one over 5 with a 5.43 lber. They flipped a Gene Larew Mega Ring Tube. Pat and Bryan took home two Setyr Rods for their efforts.
Fourth place went to Andy Wegner and Jeff Henson with 2 bass weighing 6.36 lbs. They caught their bass on Chatterbaits and a Prowler Tube.
Rounding out the top 5 was Greg Bayles and Dave Norris. They won the Strike King Top to Bottom Bags.
The next event is July 21st on Lake Bloomington.
The Vicious Heavyweight of the Year leaders are Blake and Brown with 37.92 lbs followed by Norris and Bayles with 26.60 lbs,Menssen and Menssen with 24.63 lbs, Maisenbacher and Didonato with 24.52 lbs, Welch and McDaniel 22.24 lbs, Anderson and Fauth 21.69 lbs and Russell and Ferguson with 21.02 lbs respectively. The top two win a trip to the BassFan Army Weekend Warrior Championship in April and a sponsorship package from Vicious Fishing.
